Get access to Lynda.com for free with Futureworks
You might have seen the company Lynda.com pop up on various websites, YouTube adverts or podcasts but have you ever actually tried it out? It isn’t a sin to shun 99% of advertisements because you’re instinct is usually right, they’re a waste of time, but Lynda.com is a free tutorial website used by many students here at Futureworks. We strongly recommend any student, new or old to try out the free service.
All you need is your University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) log in and you’re set. You’re then free to roam the thousands of online tutorials at your pace,any time you desire.
Many of our game and animation students use software such as Autodesk Maya and Pixologic’s Zbrush, so it was to no surprise that these tutorials came up top when we asked our students what they were using Lynda.com for.
